So... where have I been?

It’s been a little quiet here recently, so I wanted to say hello and explain where I’ve been.

Since March, I’ve been building PlayWriteAI, my AI scriptwriting app.

My community started testing it in May, and by July it was pretty much ready to launch…

...but then cheeky old Google got involved, didn't they?

In a nutshell, because the app connects to your YouTube channel, Google has to approve me to use their data.

But their review process has been a [redacted] nightmare.

I've spent more than two months locked in an endless back-and-forth with their compliance team, desperately trying to get some clarity.

(If anyone knows someone on Google’s compliance team btw, I would gladly accept their email as an early Christmas present.)

So, for now, I can't launch it.

The problem is, when my brain gets stuck on a big project, others (like this newsletter) tend to suffer.

So thanks for sticking with me. I'm looking forward to getting back to it more regularly soon.
